Kicking off National Biotech Week, The Biotechnology Initiative used its September 17th breakfast meeting as a platform for both the launch of its newest program, the TBI mentorship program, as well as introduction to CELL-A Management study a unique CEO feedback questionnaire conducted by Koenig & Consultants Inc.

To celebrate the 2009 National Biotechnology Week, TBI's second annual Mix and Match event on September 22nd provided this opportunity for GTA professionals. Held at Canada's oldest vaccine maker, sanofi pasteur, and still one of the leading vaccine producers in the world, this proved to be an important event supporting biotechnology and commercialization of innovations.

Immunovaccine Inc. (IMV) starts trading on TSX-V
Immunovaccine Inc. is pleased to announce it will begin trading on the TSX-Venture Exchange as of October 5, 2009. Immunovaccine Inc. will trade as a Tier 1 issuer under the ticker symbol "IMV”. The company successfully closed a concurrent round of financing to support the Phase 1 clinical for DPX-0907, a therapeutic breast ovarian and prostate cancer vaccine, and intends to start the trial in Q1 2010.
Immunovaccine Inc. is continuing to develop breakthrough technologies to make vaccines better. The company continues to strengthen its vaccine pipeline through licensing and strategic partnering.
Immunovaccine will be presenting at BioContact in Quebec City, BioPartnering Europe in London, the Life Sciences and Health Care Venture Summit in New York, Bio Investor Forum in San Francisco and Bio Europe in Vienna.
