SENIOR FORMULATION SCIENTIST

ROLE:
Canadian-based emerging biotech company has an opening for Senior Formulation Scientist. This position will have extensive experience in developing stabilizing formulations for vaccine products, including expertise in the selection and analysis of adjuvant-containing protein, peptide and lipid formulations, and lyophilized or liquid formulations for peptide vaccines. Knowledge of fill/finish and container-closure evaluation and validation is a strong plus. A thorough understanding of ICH guidelines and regulatory guidelines for US and European markets in filing of investigational new drugs (INDs) is necessary to quickly move research and development efforts in support of clinical trials. A high level of technical expertise in the stabilization of protein formulations is required to ensure the clinical success of our new vaccine candidates. The Senior Formulation Scientist will take a lead role in the development of new vaccine formulations for pipeline products in coordination with other development functional areas and project leaders, and direct the technology transfer of methods and formulation processes to manufacturing groups.

REQUIREMENTS:
