7th Annual Golf Classic

August 14, 2007 The Biotech Initiative had its’ 7th Annual Golf Classic where 144 people enjoyed a beautiful day at Copper Creek Golf Club. Those who attended experienced the golf course which was voted the best new course in Ontario by Ontario Golf Magazine.

TBI chair Grant Tipler spent the day on the 8th hole and met with all the golfers. Some highlights on this hole found golfers earn seven birdies and 27 pars, while 52 golfers managed to hit the green. “I think everyone certainly enjoyed themselves as it was the best year yet for this annual golf classic with weather and the turnout from TBI members and their guests being outstanding,” said Tipler. “I had a wonderful time on the 8th hole as spending six hours on one green definitely improves your putting. Also I recommend a golf tournament such as this to any leader of a non-profit organization who is running an enterprise to improve networking.”
