TBA The Biotechnology Initiative

The Voice of Bioscience in Ontario

Broadening the life science community at TBI

TBI is happy to announce the “Member Get a Member” drive. Always striving to meet its mandate of promoting life sciences, TBI is reaching out to welcome new individual memberships. As a valued member of the TBI, you have an opportunity to directly drive this initiative.

Do you have a colleague or friend in the life science sector? Invite them to join TBI and reap the benefits of becoming a member! Our individual members are the core of the organization and we will continue to provide networking through educational opportunities. Members will have the opportunity to meet and network with the Ontario Bioscience community, which includes executives of companies in the space, and the support infrastructure including finance, legal, accounting, research labs, clinical trials - just to name a few!

The goal of the drive is to broaden professional diversity at TBI, creating a venue for all of the stakeholders in the life sciences to promote the growth of our industry and to network and exchange ideas with other who care about this sector.

For your effort, TBI would like to recognize your contribution:

The membership drive will start today and end on June 30 2008

For every new member you bring into TBI, you will receive a 10% reduction on your membership fee for the next annual subscription, cumulative up to a one-time 100% discount of your membership fee.

In addition, there will be a special presentation for the member who brings in the most new membership. The winner will have a choice of a ticket to the annual TBI Golf or Ski event or the Gala for next year.

Since the goal of the drive is to promote diversity in the professional make-up of our membership, please note that new members who are students or service providers, though very welcome, would not count towards a reduction in your membership fees.

This is our organization. TBI belongs to all of its members. It is no more or less than the sum of the talents of the many people who make it their “professional home”. Here is your chance to make it something you can really proudly support.
